The Laramie RIver sector will be accessed from the Jelm Wildlife Habitat Management Area.
Turn south on Route 10 at the Woods Landing Resort on Hwy 230
Take King Fisher lane off of Route 10, and park in the roundabout lot.
Walk upstream and beat 1 will be just above the large bridge
A stretch of shoreline along the southernmost shore of the lake approx 200m long will be chosen, featuring 6 beats approx 20m long. beats will have large buffer zones between them.
IMPORTANT: This venue will feature beat rotation. All beats will be marked and numbered 1-6 (counterclockwise). Anglers will rotate two beats forward every hour. Angler fishing beat 1 goes to 3, 4 goes to 6, 6 goes to 2, etc. There will be a five minute slot to allow anglers to rotate, so sessions on this venue will take 3 hours and 10 minutes.
UPDATE: Wading will be permitted on this venue. Anglers will be allowed to wade up to waist-deep on this venue. Waist-deep is defined as the level of their wading belt. Anglers will self-enforce this limit, counter-checked by the controllers.
