This event will follow the new Fly Fishing Team USA cycle format starting this year. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they need to be from the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, or California.

Event Format: 2, 2hr competitor controlled sessions. 

Fish: Rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, & whitefish.

Angler Limit: This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.

Transportation will need to be provided by the anglers on their own.

8:00 am - 10:00 am :: Session 1

10:30 am - 12:30 pm :: Session 2

2:15 pm - 4:15 pm :: Session 3

4:45 pm - 6:45 pm :: Session 4

Registration opens Monday, March 27th, 2023 at 6 PM Pacific Time.

Registration and Fee:

No entry fee but you must purchase a Fly Fishing Team USA membership for 2023-2024 within 24 hours of your registration confirmation. Please WAIT TO PURCHASE the membership until you have gotten a spot in the comp as it is first come, first serve for the registration and I can't guarantee you'll get in. The membership is good for one year from date of purchase. You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page. 

No-Fish-Period:

A comp water no-fish policy will be in effect starting Monday, April 10th at dark for competition sectors. All other water will remain open.

Hotels: Ellensburg has a few options for lodging. There is plenty of camping options along the river and surrounding areas as well.
