Tunkwa Lake Classic Loch Style Competition

Time:8am – 5pm (2 sessions, 9am-12pm and 1:30pm to 4:30pm)
Entrance Fee:$15 for FFC members and $20 non FFC members
Anglers: 24 (2 per boat)

FISHING CLOSURE: 6pm April 26th 2024


• We will be fishing loch style so boats need thwart boards and drogues. We do have some available to be borrowed, please reach out to the organizer if need to borrow theses items. Measuring troughs for fish scoring will be provided.
• Minimum 20cm fish size to be scoreable.
• Gas and Electric motors can be used with 9.9HP motor restriction.
• Boat partners will be fishing as a team, and we will do a draw at the competitors meeting to assign letter groups to each competitor.
• Competitors are responsible to supply and wear PFDs and eye protection at all times during the competition while on the water.
• Waterproof score sheets will be provided by BCFFL. Competitors please bring a pencil to score your fish. Competitors will also need a watch to record the time of their catch. Waivers will be sent out by email closer to the event.
• Flies need to be on single barbless hooks(pinched barbs are okay). Indicators, swivels and split shots are not allowed.
• Competitors can sign up as a pair or as an individual. Individuals will be matched up prior to the event.
• Medals to the top 3 individuals and top 3 teams
