CHRIS ABELLANA IMPORTANT....PLEASE READ

Any open team spots will be filled by waitlisted teams first (by order on the waitlist). Sorry that I did not clarify this earlier. Please contact me if you are not needing your spot (as a team, not an individual), and I will coordinate the change. Again, sorry for any inconvenience that I have caused but we must be fair to the waitlist teams first.

Thank you,
Chris Abellana

CHRIS ABELLANA Official Results for the 1st Annual Hatch Camp and Art Farm StonedFly Classic 2019:

1st Place - Ben Green & Austin Shoemaker
2nd Place - Elijah Ellis & John Oh
3rd Place - Forrest Johnston & D Levi Ladlee
Big Fish (53cm) - Elijah Ellis
Most Fish (17) - Forrest Johnston

Congratulations to all the podium anglers.

There were 4 - 90 min sessions where there were 120 fish caught. That means over a period of 6 hours, there was a fish being landed on the average of 1 for every 3 minutes. Nice work gentlemen. And even better, the level of care that you handled the fish was extraordinary.

I want to say a huge thank you to Hatch Camp and Art Farm and Scott Low for a wonderful day on the water. He made the experience very memorable.

I also wanted to say a big Thank You to the following people and companies for their involvement. Without them, this comp would not have been as successful as it was.

Eric Salage at Syndicate Fly Fishing for donating the 11ft 3 wt rod for the Big Fish prize.

Jeff Wright with Alpharetta Outfitters for helping us with the reel cases, hat, gift card, and fly box.

Jon Stiehl with TroutHunter for the tippet, t-shirt, and stickers

Team Georgia Competitive Fly Fishing wants to thank everyone for their involvement as we will be able to donate some much-needed funds to a wonderful cause - Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc.

I'll be posting some pictures tomorrow, so thank you for your patience. And if you look at the SEFFL website tomorrow, you can see your individual placing from the comp.

I personally want to thank each and every angler asIt was a pleasure to see so many great fly fisherman competing in a manner that was not only fierce but more importantly, friendly.

Thank you,
Chris Abellana
