2025 Pueblo Tailwater Mini

 This event will be another "local" in the new Fly Fishing Team USA cycle format. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they must be from Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas. Or they can be from another region and use this as their one competition outside of the region for the cycle. 

 Date: 

January 18th, 2025

Location: 

Pueblo, Colorado.

Event Format:

 1.5 hour competitor controlled sessions. 

 This event will be run in a 2-person team format. You can sign up and choose your teammate or a teammate will be assigned to you if you do not have one. Each member of the team will be split into separate groups. The goal is to practice working as a team during competitions. 

Competition Sectors: 

Arkansas River in Pueblo, Colorado

Fish:

Rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroat.

 Schedule: 

 7am meet Reservoir Dr. Parking area. 

Session 1-1: 8am-9:30am

Session 1-2: 10am-11:30am

Session 2-1: 12:30pm-2pm

Session 2-2:  2:30pm-4pm

 Transportation: 

Transportation is provided by the anglers on their own.

Angler Limit: 

12 anglers

Registration and Fee:

No Fee but a FFTUSA membership is required and can be purchased at the top of the  Fly Fishing Team USA page.

No-Fish-Period: 

A comp water no-fish policy will be in effect on January 18th, 2025 at dark.
