Davidson River

Six beats on the famed Catch and Release section of the Davidson River, between Avery Creek confluence (lower boundary) and Fish Hatchery Road (upper boundary).  Practice water available from Sycamore Flats Recreation area upstream to English Chapel Bridge.  

East Fork of the French Broad

Six beats on the Delayed Harvest section of the East Fork of the French Broad.  Suggested practice waters include:

• Delayed harvest waters of the Little River, from the outflow of Lake Dense to Hooker Falls (Dupont State Forest).  
• Delayed harvest waters of the North Mills River ((game land portion below Hendersonville watershed dam)

Tanasee Creek Lake

39 acre high elevation lake operated under hatchery supported regulations, but with populations of wild brown trout.  Suggested practice waters include Cedar Cliff or Bear Lakes.  

Wolf Creek Lake

183 acre high elevation lake operated under hatchery supported regulations.  Suggested practice waters include Cedar Cliff or Bear Lakes.
