2025 Mid West Interregional

 

 

This event will be the last interregional of the 2023-2025 cycle in preparation for the National Championship in September 2025. 

 

Date: 

July 30,2025-August 1st, 2025.

Location: 

Durango, Colorado.

Event Format:

 

This event will be run in a 4-person team format. You can sign up and choose your teammate or a teammate will be assigned to you.

This event is open to anglers by invitation only. 

Competition Sectors: 

I: Animas River Lower (gold metal water)

II: Animas River Upper  (general water)

III: Vallecito Reservoir Loch Style

IV: Lemon Reservoir Bank/ Vallecito Bank

Fish: Rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroat, kokanee salmon.

A valid Colorado license is required:

 

Transportation: 

Transportation is provided by the anglers on their own.

Angler Limit: 

24 anglers, by invitation only.

FFTUSA membership is required and can be purchased at the top of the  Fly Fishing Team USA page.

No-Fish-Period: 

A comp water no-fish policy will be in effect on June 29, 2025 at dark.  

 

Draw: 

The draw will be run publicly at opening meeting July 30th, 2025.
