This event will be another "local" in the new Fly Fishing Team USA cycle format starting this year. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they need to be from the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming or California. This regional will be a practice run for sorting out the sectors for the world championships in 2025 and 2026. 

Date:
Sunday August 4th, 2024. It will follow the Henry's Fork Comp. 

Location:
West Yellowstone, MT

Event Format:
2, 3 hr competitor controlled sessions. Boat and Bank sessions (potentially just boat sessions if we can get enough boats)

Competition Sectors:
Hebgen Lake Madison Arm

Fish:
Rainbow Trout , Brown Trout, Whitefish, Brook Trout

Schedule:
8 am - 11 am :: Session 1 
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm :: Session 2 

Transportation:
Transportation is provided by the anglers on their own.

Angler Limit:
This event will be limited to the first 16 anglers.

Registration and Fee:
There will most likely be a fee for this event, I am still working on getting boats rented for the event and that cost is TBD. You must purchase a Fly Fishing Team USA membership within 24 hours of your registration confirmation. Please WAIT TO PURCHASE the membership until you have gotten a spot in the comp as it is first come first serve for the registration and I can't guarantee you'll get in. The membership is good for 365 days from purchase. You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page. Registration opens TBD 

No-Fish-Period:
A comp water no-fish policy will be in affect starting Saturday, July 27th at dark.
