Crane Prairie Reservoir Mini - West Region

 

This event will follow the new Fly Fishing Team USA (FFTUSA) cycle format starting this year. For anglers to be eligible to garner points, they need to be from the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, or California.

Date: Saturday, August 20th, 2022

Location: Crane Prairie Reservoir, Oregon

Event Format: 2, 3hr loch style competitor controlled sessions. 

Fish: Rainbow trout, brook trout, whitefish 

Angler Limit: This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.

Transportation will need to be provided by the anglers on their own.

Schedule:

8:00am - 11:00am :: Session 1

11:00am - 12:30pm :: Lunch/Break

1:00pm - 4:30pm :: Session 2

 

Registration:

There is no fee. We will be renting boats and splitting the cost across the group. Details will be sent after registration.

If you are not already a member, all anglers must purchase a FFTUSA membership for 2021-2022 within 24 hours of their registration confirmation. Please WAIT TO PURCHASE the membership until you have gotten a spot in the comp as it is first-come, first-serve for the registration and we can't guarantee you'll get in. You can purchase the membership at the top of the Fly Fishing Team USA page

 

Registration opens Monday, June 27th, 2022, at 12 PM Pacific Time.

 

No-Fish-Period:

A comp water no-fish policy will be in effect for the entire reservoir starting Saturday, August 6th at dark. The designated practice water will re-open at first light on Saturday, August 13th and remain open until the comp day. All other venues will remain open.

 

Hotels: Bend has lots of options about 50min from the competition location.
