This event is a women's only event, with participation counting towards qualification for the US Women's Fly Fishing Championships in 2024. In total, female anglers must compete in two events to qualify for Nationals. This is an introduction to competitive fly fishing and rule modifications will be communicated prior to the event.

Event Format:
Each angler will fish two 1.5 hour sessions. Competitor controlled.
Competition Sectors:
Clear Creek, upstream from the intersection of Highway 119 and 6 to the intersection of Highway 6 and 40. Competition waters will close to fishing on October 28th at dusk. Anglers may practice on any of the water above or below the competition sector.

Transportation to be provided by anglers.
Angler Limit:
This event will be limited to the first 12 anglers.
Registration and Fee:
Registration for this comp opens October 8, 2023 at 8pm Mountain Time. There is no entry fee, but a Fly Fishing Team USA membership is required.
Draw: We will run the draw Saturday night, November 4th, after setting the beats.
