Ruedi Reservoir

Ruedi Reservoir is a 1,000 acre storage reservoir. Ruedi offers good fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, and occasionally kokanee. Boat launch will be from the Ruedi Marina and we will be using non-motorized boats.

Lower Roaring Fork (Aspen Glen)

Roaring Fork River below the confluence of the, Roaring Fork and Crystal Rivers. Approximately 2.5 miles of river access.

This stretch of river holds large Rainbow, Brown, and Cutthroat Trout. In addition to trout species there are Rocky Mountain Whitefish in this stretch as well.

Crystal River

The Crystal River is a tributary to the Roaring Fork joining the river in the town of Carbondale. This access is through the Colorado Rocky Mountain School and is just above the confluence with the Roaring Fork. There is approximately 1.35 miles of river in this sector. The Crystal River has the highest risk for blowing out in the spring, but has good numbers of fish with little fishing pressure typically. Rainbow and Brown trout, along with Whitefish are commonly caught in this river.

Middle Roaring Fork

Roaring Fork at the Ranches at Roaring Fork. This stretch of river is below the confluence of the Frying Pan and Roaring Fork Rivers, but above the confluence with the Crystal River. There is 1.6 miles of river access.

Upper Roaring Fork

Roaring Fork river above the confluence of the Roaring Fork and the Frying Pan rivers. Approximately 1.0 mile of river in the Roaring Fork Club.

Frying Pan River

Frying Pan river below Ruedi Reservoir. Approximately 1.6 miles of river access.
