Casting Carolina's is extremely excited to announce this year's "Tie One On" tournament date, October 7th, and a new venue (actually 2) for the tournament. For 2017, our amateur and pro Tournament will take place in Cherokee on the Trophy water. We will have a 2nd tournament, for program alums, happening on the Tuck in Bryson City and will coincide with the fly fishing festival put on by the town of Bryson City and local businesses. Both tournaments will take place simultaniously, and will conveign back at the Bryson City Community Center for an award ceremony and possibly more.

• The tournament will be a team tournament consisting of 2 person teams.
• Team entry is $250 total (Covers Cherokee fishing license & Special use permit and Tourney T-Shirt)
• Each team will fish (1) 2 hour session, and both competitors ARE allowed to fish at the same time.
• Scoring will be done the same as in past "Tie One On" Tournaments. Each team is allowed to score 5 fish.
• Decisions to score or not will be made immediatley after measuring the fish.
• Once a fish is scored, it cannot be replaced.
• Official rules and schedules will be emailed to all competitors 1 week prior to the tournament.
• Beat draws will happen at the start of the tournament, and will be for all competitors of both divisions.
• There will be a cash prize for the Pro Division($1000,$500,$250), and prizes for the Amateur.
• Amateurs and Pros WILL fish at the same time, but will be competing in their division only.
• We are opening 20 combined spots for the Pro and Amateur divisions (ex 15Pro-5Am, 10Pro-10Am. 8Pro-12Am)
• If spots fill quickly we will open up 10 more spots total, for both division. This will not happen any later than 1 week prior to the tournament.
